Transparent Dedham Community Correspondents

  • Learn more about how local government works
  • Expand your network by meeting new people and learning more about Dedham boards, committees, and organizations
  • Identify opportunities to volunteer on elected and appointed boards in the future

Our Community Correspondents are at the center of our mission to help residents get a better understanding of how town government works and what issues are, or may become, important for local attention and action. Correspondents attend one or more meetings a month and submit summaries of the happenings.

Community
Correspondents are provided with guidelines to ensure notes are written as objectively as possible. Our template makes it simple to summarize meetings and submit your notes. Prior to publication on our website, the notes are reviewed by an editor in order to maintain consistent format and style.

WEBsite editors

Our website is supported by our volunteers. If you're interested in supporting the mission of Transparent Dedham but unable to attend evening meetings, please consider joining our web team. Prior experience building and editing websites is not required; email info@transparentdedham.org or come to an info session to learn more.

Resources for correspondents

Correspondents are given clear guidelines and a template for submitting their notes, available here for review.
